Clark Juniors: Apply to be a LEEP 2013 Project Pioneer

Visit the following website and learn how to apply!

As a LEEP Pioneer, you will be one of the first cohorts of students to complete LEEP Projects, gaining valuable experience for yourself and paving the way for Clarkies in years to come.

A LEEP Project may respond to the needs of an external organization, build on an existing research program, or be self-initiated as in the case of an artistic or entrepreneurial endeavor. A number of projects will be sponsored by Clark alumni and will be completed offsite. Additionally:

LEEP Projects may be completed by teams of students, or by an individual student.
Academic credit is possible, provided that the LEEP Project is approved by your faculty adviser.
A $2500 stipend will be provided (as long as other funding sources are unavailable).
Pioneers are expected to complete approximately 150 hours on the LEEP Project. Other expectations include:
Attending workshops, on topics of collaboration, presenting work orally and visually, creativity beyond the classroom, the purpose and practices of reflection, and the professional work environment.
Reflecting on your learning in various media and presenting projects during Fall Fest.
Pioneers will have the support of the LEEP Center staff, a faculty or staff mentor, and a project manager.

You are eligible if you are a junior; have prior internship, volunteering or employment experience; are in good standing academically and socially; and have an updated resume. Please consider applying.

*Priority given to those who register by January 25. After that, admission will be on a rolling basis.
