Co-Directors' Note:

Jason Robert Brown's "Songs For A New World" is a piece that we find particularly relevant to our lives. It is about one moment, the moment before it all becomes clear. We are now on the brink of graduation and even though we all know what we are doing after college, the path that our lives will take from here is still unclear.

A message that we found in Songs for a New World is that we are going to make it somehow. We have people in our lives who we love and who are here to support us. We are not alone in this struggle, and despite popular belief, we will not drop off the face of the earth the second we graduate from college. Our lives will continue beyond the struggle of a life change, a move to a totally different place, or even the production of a musical in two and a half weeks. We hope you enjoy this piece, which is the culmination of four years of growth and learning about ourselves.
